The E:30 -20 error means your Bosch washing machine detected too much water inside the drum. This can be caused by using too much detergent which generates excess suds that displace water, adding extra water manually during a cycle, or a defective solenoid valve that is not closing correctly. If suds are the cause reduce detergent for future cycles. If the solenoid valve is defective contact a qualified technician support.

How to fix it

If suds are visible mix one tablespoon of fabric softener with 2 cups of water and pour into compartment II

Do not add this mixture if washing outdoor clothing sportswear or down-filled items

Reduce the amount of detergent for future cycles

Do not add extra water to the machine while it is operating

If the error persists after adjusting detergent use the solenoid valve may be defective — contact a qualified technician
