Daikin Air Conditioner A3 error code

The A3 error means your Daikin air conditioner detected an abnormality in the drain level control system. The most common cause is a blocked or upward-sloping condensate drain pipe that is preventing water from draining away normally. A float switch fault or defective drain pump can also trigger this. Check that the drain hose is not blocked or kinked and is sloping downward. If the drain appears clear contact a qualified technician.

  • Drain pipe is installed with an upward slope preventing gravity drainage

How to fix it

    Make sure the drain pipe slopes downward continuously from the indoor unit to the drain outlet

    Clear any visible blockage from the drain pipe end
