The DOOR error means your LG microwave detected that the door is not fully closed or the latch is not engaging correctly. Microwaves will not operate unless the door is completely shut as a safety requirement — microwave energy cannot be contained in an open or partially open cavity. This is commonly caused by an obstruction preventing the door from latching or a cooking rack sitting out of position. Closing the door firmly usually clears it.
