Panasonic Microwave H32 error code
Difficulty: Hard
·
Cost: $100–$300
·
Duration: Requires professional service
The H32 error means your Panasonic microwave detected a fault with the magnetron thermistor — the temperature sensor that monitors the heat of the magnetron tube to prevent it from overheating. The magnetron is the component that generates microwave energy for cooking. When this sensor fails the microwave cannot protect the magnetron from heat damage and stops operating. This requires inspection by an authorised service centre.
Common causes
- Magnetron thermistor has malfunctioned or failed
- Wiring to the magnetron thermistor is loose or damaged
- Magnetron itself has overheated triggering the thermistor correctly
How to fix it
-
1
Stop using the microwave and unplug it
-
2
Contact a qualified technician to inspect the magnetron thermistor and magnetron
