Panasonic Microwave H98 error code

The H98 error means your Panasonic microwave detected that the magnetron is not oscillating — no microwave energy is being generated. This is the most common serious error on Panasonic inverter microwaves and indicates that either the power supply has failed or the magnetron itself has stopped working. A power reset sometimes clears H98 if it was caused by a temporary power surge. If H98 returns the magnetron or inverter board will need to be replaced by an authorised service centre.

How to fix it

Unplug the microwave for 5 minutes and plug it back in to attempt a reset
