Bosch Cooktop F4 (Electric / Induction / Gas) error code
Difficulty: Easy
·
Cost: $0
·
Duration: 5–20m
The F4 code on your Bosch cooktop means the electronics overheated and all cooking zones switched off to prevent damage. Wait until the electronics cool down sufficiently then touch any control element — when the F4 message disappears all zones can be used again. For gas cooktops this means the automatic ignition overheated.
Common causes
- Multiple cooking zones were operated at high power simultaneously for an extended period
- Electronics overheated severely due to insufficient cooling or ventilation
How to fix it

1
For gas cooktops turn all burners off or use minimum power until the system cools
