LG Range (Electric) F34 error code

Difficulty: Hard · Cost: $80–$250 · Duration: 5m

The F34 error means your LG induction range detected a problem with the temperature sensor on the front induction burner. This is similar to the F33 error but represents a different fault condition in the front burner temperature sensor. When it develops a fault the front burner cannot operate correctly and the range stops the function. A circuit breaker reset clears it in some cases but if F34 keeps returning the temperature sensor will need to be inspected and replaced by a technician.

Common causes

  • Front induction burner temperature sensor has malfunctioned or failed
  • Wiring connection to the front burner temperature sensor is loose or damaged
  • Internal fault in the burner temperature sensor circuit

How to fix it

  1. 1

Turn off the circuit breaker for the range and wait 30 seconds

  2. 2

Turn the circuit breaker back on and check if the error has cleared

  3. 3

If F34 persists after resetting the front induction burner temperature sensor needs inspection and replacement by a qualified technician
