The F36 error means your LG range detected a problem with a transistor — an electronic switching component in the range's power control circuitry. Transistors regulate and control the electrical current flowing to the cooking elements. When one fails the range cannot control power delivery correctly and stops the function. A circuit breaker reset clears it in some cases but if F36 keeps returning the faulty transistor or control board will need to be inspected and replaced by a technician.
