The F38 error means your LG range detected a communication failure between the main control board and the inverter. The inverter controls power delivery to the induction burners and needs to communicate constantly with the main board to regulate cooking performance. When this communication breaks down the range cannot control the induction burners correctly and stops the function. A circuit breaker reset clears it in some cases but if F38 keeps returning the wiring or control boards will need to be inspected by a technician.
