The F16 error means your LG range detected a problem with the oven sensor. The oven sensor monitors the temperature inside the oven cavity and communicates with the control board to regulate heat accurately during cooking. When it develops a fault the oven cannot control temperature correctly and stops the function. A reset clears it in some cases but if F16 keeps returning the oven sensor will need to be inspected and replaced by a technician.
Common causes
- Oven sensor has malfunctioned or failed completely
