LG Range (Gas) F24 error code
Difficulty: Hard
·
Cost: $80–$250
·
Duration: 5m
The F24 error means your LG range detected a failure in the steam sensor. This is similar to the F21 and F22 errors but represents a different steam sensor fault condition. When it fails the range cannot manage steam cooking safely and stops the function. A circuit breaker reset clears it in some cases but if F24 keeps returning the steam sensor will need to be inspected and replaced by a technician.
Common causes
- Steam sensor has malfunctioned or failed completely
- Wiring connection to the steam sensor is loose or damaged
- Internal fault in the steam sensor circuit
How to fix it
-
1
Turn off the circuit breaker for the range and wait 30 seconds
-
2
Turn the circuit breaker back on and check if the error has cleared

If F24 persists after resetting the steam sensor needs inspection and replacement by a qualified technician
