LG Washing Machine (Combo) OE error code

The OE error on your LG washer dryer combo means the unit cannot drain water properly. The drain height on a combo unit must be no more than 53 inches above the floor — the combo washer cannot push water any higher than this. Check that the drain hose is not kinked and is installed at the correct height. To manually drain the unit use the drain tube located on the inner left side of the door.

Drain hose is kinked, pressed, or installed higher than 53 inches from the floor
Drain hose or drain pump filter is clogged with debris
Drain pump is blocked or has malfunctioned

How to fix it

Check behind the unit to ensure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged — straighten if needed

Make sure the drain hose is installed no higher than 53 inches above the floor

To manually drain: select RINSE+SPIN on the control panel, press EXTRA RINSE 5 times until SPIN ONLY lights up, get a shallow pan, remove the drain tube from the inner left side of the door and drain, then replace the drain tube plug firmly to prevent leaks

Clean the drain pump filter — refer to the owner's manual for your model
