The H17 error means your Panasonic air conditioner detected a fault with the outdoor unit's suction temperature sensor. This sensor monitors the temperature of the refrigerant gas being drawn back into the compressor. When it develops a fault the unit cannot monitor refrigerant temperatures correctly and stops operating. A qualified technician will need to inspect and replace the sensor.

- Wiring to the sensor is loose or damaged
