A colon (:) or dot (.) in the display of your Whirlpool microwave typically means the microwave is in a standby state, has had a power interruption, or is in Demo Mode. Press the Cancel or Clear button to clear the display. If a colon or dot persists try resetting the clock or pressing Start. If the display does not respond turn off the circuit breaker for 1 minute then turn it back on.
