The dET code appears on select Whirlpool washing machine models and means the automatic dispenser cartridge was not detected. If you are using single-load doses of detergent added directly to the drum or dispenser drawer this message can be ignored. If you use the automatic dispenser cartridge make sure it is inserted correctly and the dispenser drawer is fully closed.
