Brother Printer (Inkjet) B&W Print Only error code
The B&W Print Only message on your Brother inkjet printer means one or more color ink cartridges are empty. The machine can still be used in black and white mode for approximately four weeks depending on how much you print. During this time plain paper printing and copying works in black and white, and faxes can be received and printed in black and white. Replace the empty ink cartridges to restore full color printing. Note: if you unplug the machine or remove the cartridge you will not be able to use the machine at all until you replace the empty cartridge.
Common causes
- One or more color ink cartridges have run out of ink
How to fix it
-
1
Replace the empty color ink cartridges with new genuine Brother ink cartridges
-
2
You can continue printing in black and white in the meantime if the media type is set to Plain Paper
-
3
