Absorber Near Full / Ink Absorber NearFull

The ink absorber box is nearly full — service will be required soon

B&W Print Only

One or more color ink cartridges have reached the end of their life — black and white printing only

Cannot Detect / No Ink Cartridge

The printer cannot detect an ink cartridge — it is missing, incorrectly installed, or incompatible

Cannot Detect Ink / Cannot Detect Ink Volume

The printer cannot detect the ink volume — a non-genuine ink cartridge may be installed

Cannot Print XX / Cannot Clean XX / Cannot Start XX / Cannot Initialize XX

The printer has a mechanical problem or a foreign object is inside the machine

Cannot Scan XX

The printer has a mechanical problem preventing scanning

Comm. Error

A poor telephone line caused a fax communication error

Connection Error / Connection Failed

The printer cannot establish a Wi-Fi Direct connection with a mobile device

Cover is Open.

The scanner cover or ink cartridge cover is not properly closed

Data Remaining / Data Remaining in Memory

Print data is left in the machine's memory from a previous job

Document Jam / Document Jam/too Long

A document is jammed in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)

High Temperature

The room temperature is too high for the printer to operate

Ink Absorber Full / Ink Absorber Pad Full

The ink absorber box is completely full — the printer requires service

Ink Low

The ink level is low — prepare a replacement ink cartridge

Jam Front / Jam Inside/Front / Jam Rear / Repeat Jam

Paper is jammed in the printer — remove the jammed paper carefully

Low Temperature

The room temperature is too low for the printer to operate

No Paper Fed / No Paper Fed Again / Repetitive No Paper Fed

The printer is out of paper or paper is not loaded correctly

Out of Fax Memory

The fax memory is full — stored faxes must be printed

Out of Memory

The printer memory is full — too many documents or faxes are stored

Paper Size Mismatch

The paper size setting does not match the size of paper loaded in the tray
