Brother Printer (Inkjet) Touchscreen Init. Failed error code
The Touchscreen Init. Failed message on your Brother inkjet printer means the touchscreen was pressed or something was resting on it before the machine completed its power-on initialization. Make sure nothing is touching or resting on the touchscreen when plugging the machine in. If debris is stuck between the lower edge of the touchscreen and its frame insert a piece of stiff paper and slide it back and forth to dislodge the debris.

- The touchscreen was pressed before power-on initialization was completed
- An object or debris is stuck between the bottom of the touchscreen and its frame

Make sure nothing is touching or resting on the touchscreen when you plug the machine in

If debris is stuck between the lower part of the touchscreen and the frame insert a piece of stiff card or paper and slide it back and forth to push out the debris

Power cycle the machine and ensure nothing touches the screen during startup
