Brother Printer (Inkjet) Tray not detected / Paper Tray not detected error code
The Tray not detected or Paper Tray not detected message on your Brother inkjet printer means the paper tray is not completely inserted into the machine. Slowly push the paper tray all the way in until it stops. If the tray still does not seat correctly pull it out completely and check for jammed paper or a foreign object that may be preventing it from inserting.

How to fix it

Slowly push the paper tray all the way into the machine until it stops

If the tray will not insert fully pull it out completely

Check inside the tray slot for jammed paper or foreign objects and remove them
