LG Air Conditioner CH07 error code

Difficulty: Easy · Cost: $0 · Duration: 2–5m

The CH07 error appears on LG 2-in-1 and multi-room air conditioner systems when two connected units are running in incompatible modes at the same time. The most common example is one unit set to cooling while another is set to heating — the system cannot do both simultaneously and displays CH07 to flag the conflict. Cooling and dehumidification can run together without issue, and heating units can run together, but mixing heating with cooling or dehumidification will always trigger this error. Air purification and fan modes can run alongside any other mode without restriction.

Common causes

  • One unit is set to heating while another is set to cooling
  • One unit is set to heating while another is set to dehumidification
  • Multiple ceiling units in different rooms running in conflicting modes

How to fix it

  1. 1

Check the operating mode on each connected unit

  2. 2

Set all units to the same mode — either all cooling, all heating, or a combination of cooling and dehumidification

  3. 3

Do not mix heating mode with cooling or dehumidification mode on any connected units

  4. 4

Air purification and fan modes can be left running on any unit without causing this error
