LG Dryer PF error code
Difficulty: Easy
·
Cost: $0
·
Duration: 2–5m
The PF error means your LG dryer lost power during a running cycle. This is most commonly caused by a power outage or a tripped circuit breaker. The dryer displays PF to let you know the cycle did not complete normally. A factory reset by holding the Start/Pause button while the unit is unplugged clears it in most cases. If PF keeps appearing after the reset the unit will need a professional repair.
Common causes
- Power outage interrupted the cycle while the dryer was running
- Circuit breaker for the dryer tripped during the cycle
- Dryer was accidentally unplugged while running
- Unstable power supply causing a temporary interruption
How to fix it
-
1
Unplug the dryer from the outlet or turn off the circuit breaker supplying it
-
2
With the power off press and hold the START/PAUSE button for 5 seconds
-
3
Restore power by plugging back in or flipping the circuit breaker back on
-
4

-
5
If PF keeps appearing after the reset the unit requires a professional repair
