Samsung Range -dE- / -dC- error code

The -dE- or -dC- error appears on Samsung Flex Duo ranges with a removable partition divider and means the partition is not installed correctly. If you started cooking before inserting the partition this code will also display — check your user manual for which cooking modes are supported in Twin Mode. The partition must be pushed all the way in and positioned at the correct rack level to clear this error.

Common causes

  • Partition is not pushed all the way into the oven
  • Partition is installed at the wrong rack position
  • Partition is not in the oven but something is pressing against the partition switch at the back
  • A cooking mode was started before the partition was inserted on a Twin Mode oven

How to fix it

    If the partition is inside the oven remove it and reinstall it correctly — push it all the way in

  2. 2

    On electric and dual fuel models position the partition at the third rack level from the top — on gas models position it at the fourth rack level from the top

  3. 3

    If the partition is not in the oven check that nothing is pressing against the partition switch at the back of the oven interior

  4. 4

    Check your user manual to confirm which cooking modes support Twin Mode before starting a cycle
