Samsung Washing Machine E2 / bE2 / 6E2 / BE2 / 8E2 error code
These codes mean your Samsung washing machine detected that a button on the control panel is stuck or is registering as continuously pressed. This can happen when a button edge gets jammed or debris gets behind the panel. Pressing each button individually and working it back and forth usually frees it. Note that on some models BE2 or 8E2 is a MEMS Sensor Error rather than a jammed button error — check your user manual to confirm which applies to your model.
Common causes
- A button on the control panel is physically stuck in a pressed position
- Debris or moisture behind the panel is causing a false button press
- Control panel button has worn or broken causing it to register as continuously pressed
How to fix it

1
Power off the washing machine
-
2
Press each button on the control panel individually, working each one back and forth to reach all edges before releasing
-
3
