The E1 error means your HP ENVY printer detected that the paper size selected in the print settings does not match the paper loaded in the input tray. Press Cancel, load the correct paper size or change the print settings to match what is loaded, and print again.

The wrong paper size was loaded after a previous print job
Paper width guide is not adjusted to the edge of the paper

Press the Cancel button to cancel the current print job

Remove all paper from the input tray

Load the correct paper size and slide the paper width guide to rest against the edge of the stack

Or change the paper size settings in your application to match the paper already loaded
