HP Printer (ENVY) E5 error code

The E5 error means your HP ENVY printer's scanner or the printer itself is in an error state. Reset the printer by unplugging it for 60 seconds and plugging it back directly into a wall outlet — not a power strip. The printer can still print even while the scanner is in an error state.
