The Out of Paper message means the input tray is empty or the printer failed to pick up a sheet. The Paper Mismatch message means the paper size or type loaded in the tray does not match what the print job requires. Both are easy to fix by loading the correct paper and adjusting the paper guides.
Common causes
- Input tray is empty or ran out of paper mid-job
- Paper size or type loaded does not match the print job settings
- Paper width guides are not adjusted to the edge of the paper
- Paper is loaded incorrectly or at an angle
How to fix it

For Out of Paper load a stack of plain paper into the input tray and make sure the guides are snug against the edges

For Paper Mismatch load the correct paper size that matches the print job settings

Or change the paper size in your application print settings to match the paper already loaded

Press the Resume or OK button on the printer to continue the print job
