LG Air Conditioner E4 error code

E4 is not an error code. It simply means your LG air conditioner has detected ice forming on the evaporator coil inside the indoor unit and has temporarily switched into defrost mode to melt it. This is a completely normal automatic function. The unit will stop cooling temporarily while defrosting and will resume normal operation once the ice has cleared. No action is needed.
