LG Dishwasher LE / CE error code
The LE error means your LG dishwasher has detected a problem with the wash motor or the wiring between the motor and the control board. This code may also appear as CE on some models. The motor is responsible for pumping water through the spray arms during the wash cycle — when it cannot operate correctly the dishwasher stops to prevent damage. A power reset using the circuit breaker clears it in many cases. If the error returns after resetting the motor or wiring will need professional inspection.
Common causes
- Wash motor has malfunctioned or failed
- Wiring harness between the motor and control board is loose or damaged
- Temporary electronic glitch causing a false motor error
- Foreign object obstructing the motor
