LG Dishwasher PF error code
The PF code means your LG dishwasher detected a power interruption during a running cycle. This is a protective feature designed to alert you that the cycle did not complete normally. It can be caused by a local power outage, a tripped circuit breaker, or an inadequate power supply. The dishwasher must be connected to a dedicated circuit at 120V, 60Hz with a minimum of 15 amps — sharing a circuit with other appliances or using an extension cord can cause repeated PF codes.
Common causes
- Power outage interrupted the cycle while the dishwasher was running
- Circuit breaker tripped due to insufficient electrical capacity
- Dishwasher is sharing a circuit with other appliances overloading it
- Extension cord is being used instead of a direct wall connection
- Dishwasher is not properly grounded
