LG Dishwasher tE error code
Difficulty: Hard
·
Cost: $80–$250
·
Duration: 5m
The tE error means your LG dishwasher detected a thermal error — either the water temperature inside the unit exceeded the safe maximum of 194°F, or the thermistor that monitors water temperature has developed a fault and is giving incorrect readings. The dishwasher stops the cycle as a protective measure. A power reset is worth trying first. If tE keeps returning the thermistor or heating components will need to be inspected and replaced by a technician.
Common causes
