The IF error on the dryer section of your LG WashTower means the lint filter is not detected. The WashTower dryer lint filter has two parts — an exterior filter and an interior filter — both must be correctly assembled and inserted. The interior filter also has a small magnet that the unit uses to detect the filter. If the magnet has fallen out or is missing the filter cannot be detected even if it is physically in place.

  • The lint filter is not fully inserted into its compartment

How to fix it
