The C-F0 error means your Samsung range detected a communication failure between internal electronic components. On certain induction range models (NSI6D models ending in 9100, 9300, or 9500) a software update via SmartThings resolves this without needing service. For all other models a power reset is the first step. If the error returns after resetting arrange professional service.

How to fix it

Turn the range off and back on using the Power button to reset it

If C-F0 disappears after reset but then returns on NSI6D models ending in 9100 9300 or 9500 connect the range to SmartThings and install the available software update

To trigger the update go to Settings on the range press and hold Light for 3 seconds then navigate to Restart — this prompts an update within 30 minutes after connecting to SmartThings

The display will show Upgrading during the update and Completed when finished

Verify the firmware version is DE92-04769A_24052400 or later in the SmartThings app
