The Er/07 error means your HP LaserJet printer cannot detect the toner cartridge — it is either missing or not seated correctly in the cartridge slot. Removing and reinstalling the toner cartridge resolves most cases. If the error persists after reinstalling replace the cartridge with a new genuine HP toner cartridge.

Open the cartridge access door

Remove the toner cartridge by pulling it straight out
