2-sided Disabled / 2-sided Disable

The back cover or 2-sided tray is not properly closed or installed

Access Denied

The function you are trying to use is restricted by Secure Function Lock

Cartridge Error / Put the Toner Cartridge back in

The toner cartridge is not installed correctly in the drum unit

Comm. Error

A poor telephone line caused a fax communication error

Cooling Down / Wait for a while

The machine's interior is too hot and is cooling down — printing will resume automatically

Cover is Open

The front cover, fuser cover, or ADF cover is not fully closed

Disconnected

The remote party or their fax machine ended the call

Document Jam

A document is jammed in the Automatic Document Feeder

DR Mode in Use

Distinctive Ring mode is active — the receive mode cannot be changed

Drum ! (Drum Exclamation)

The drum unit corona wire needs cleaning or the drum/toner assembly is not installed correctly

Drum End Soon

The drum unit is nearing the end of its life — order a replacement soon

Jam Inside / Jam Rear / Jam Tray / Jam 2-sided

Paper is jammed inside the machine, at the rear, in the tray, or in the 2-sided tray

Limit Exceeded

The print limit set by Secure Function Lock has been reached

Manual Feed

Manual feed was selected but no paper is loaded in the manual feed slot

No Caller ID

No incoming call history — Caller ID service is not subscribed or no calls received

No Paper

The paper tray is empty or paper is not loaded correctly

No Response / Busy

The fax number dialed does not answer or the line is busy

No Toner

The toner cartridge or drum unit assembly is not installed correctly

Out of Memory

The machine's memory is full — reduce the job size or clear stored faxes

Print Data Full

The machine's memory is full of secure print data
